On my break, I went to the Museum of Nature with my cousin and aunt. When I got to the big imposing building, I was intimidated because of how it towered over me. The excitement of the people could be heard in the loud foyer. The first exhibit I went to was the minerals and rocks exhibit. When we got into the exhibit we observed the stunning, colorful, diverse rocks and minerals. After taking a look at the rocks, we went to the cave area. I felt the moist and clammy walls of the cave. Next, we went to the interactive butterfly exhibit, I put on a bright yellow pinnie to attract the beautiful and colorful butterflies. When I went in, it was humid and warm in the room, and when I looked up, I saw butterfly’s fluttering over my head. I looked at my aunt as she had an astonished, and comical look on her face. I turned around and asked what’s wrong, and she explained that there was a butterfly on my head. I looked at the picture she had taken and saw the beautiful and colorful butterfly I was also astonished. After 30 minutes of observing and identifying butterflies, we left the exhibit and went to the water exhibit. There we looked at beautiful and colorful jellyfish, learned about ocean pollution, and found out how much water we use in a day. After that, we left the museum and went back to my aunt’s house where we were greeted by the smell of mouthwatering spaghetti. We ate the delicious, salty, savory spaghetti. After we ate the delicious spaghetti, My dad came to pick me up and I went home.

      Hey Yaakov,
As I mentioned in my post, I didn’t realize that I had the butterfly on my head until my aunt told me that there was, so I couldn’t really feel it.

      Hi David,
To me, the butterfly exhibit was the most interesting. I like that you could interact with the butterflies, while at the same time learn about how they live.
